Electrically Operated Underfloor TV LIFT
We undertake a wide variety of custom projects. The skills we have developed over the years stand us in good stead to help our clients solve a wide variety of technical challenges.
This particular project was unusual in that it required the 42" television to be raised up out of a cast floor.
Our team researched and developed a one-off raising chassis to raise and lower the television electrically, with enough strength to be able to walk over the concealed unit in order for the client to be able to access the french doors!
We work alongside the client to create unique woodwork projects, all finished to the highest standard whilst striving to keep the finished product as elegant as possible.
Petworth
( Automatic Vertical Folding Stairway)
The Petworth ladder represents an innovative solution to the problem of gabled loft access or high level doors where a conventional loft ladder cannot be used. This loft stairway comes complete with an automated door!
This ladder was particularly challenging to design because it is particularly difficult to store and project the ladder from a vertical position through a doorway laterally into space.
The site team were speechless when we managed to complete this in record time and to the specified budget.
Manufactured using hard wood, typically Beech and Ash.
Double Sliding Ladder (Eartham)
The Electric Sliding Ladder represents an innovative solution to the problem of limited loft access where a conventional loft ladder cannot be used.
This ladder was a real challenge, as we had a very small loft opening and limited storage space in the eaves in which to store the ladder. This required some clever re-engineering of our patented design to achieve a solution which works efficiently and will serve the client reliably for many years to come.
The client is obviously delighted with the result and we are now making this available as a standard offering in the near future.
Manufactured using hard wood, typically Beech and Ash.

Ladder with a Skylight
Requirement:
The requirement was to have a ladder in a skylight without losing any of the light from the skylight. Our solution was simple. We created an opening in the door, allowing the light from the skylight to shine through.

Triple Sliding Ladder
Requirement:
The Triple Sliding Ladder came about due to a unique set of requirements. There was very little space in height or length of the loft. The location for access was in the eaves and as such was squeezed between a wall and a chimney breast. It turned out to be an ideal solution to a very difficult problem.

Counterbalance Ladder
Requirement:
An old customer returned to us to create a ladder to access a roof patio via some French windows on his roof. There was no space for a motor or for one of our usual solutions. We had to leave enough space for the operation of the windows. We solved the problem with a very simple ladder that has a counterbalance to make the operation easier and keeps it clear of the adjoining corridoor.

Skylight Ladder
Requirement:
This was a unique product designed to fit into a 1m(w ) x 1.5 m(l) x 1.5(h) skylight. The floor to roof height was a colossal 4.4 m and the landing space was very limited as to make it an almost impossible task. There was no other company that would tackle a job of this complexity. We also needed to preserve the light from the skylight, and the finish had to match the quality of of the house.

Small Petworth
Requirement:
This client had the problem of needing to access a storage area that was 4 foot above an existing stairwell, with access proving to be highly dangerous and difficult. A suggestion had been made for a complex steel construction requiring 2 men to assemble and costing rather a lot of money. This would mean that the area would end up not being used at all. Our push button solution utilising a specially designed smaller version of our Petworth ladder means that the space can be used at all times and access is safe and easy.

Roof Ladder with no Space
Requirement:
This was a very unusual project where the client had a very deep opening to the roof, but no space to store the ladder in the ceiling. Our solution was to drop the case lower than the ceiling, giving us vital space to tuck the ladder foot in. This did not look out of place because the ceiling had several different elevations and the casing protruding didn’t look at all out of place.
